Who we are

Businesses we contact

We contact independent businesses in the Cotswolds, starting with West Oxfordshire and then the Cotswold District, to offer them a website. To do that we collect: the business name, address, phone number, opening hours and services; publicly listed contact details; the business's legal form from Companies House; and photographs the business has published on its own website or social media pages, and photographs of the shopfront or sign taken by our team from the street.

We get this from Google Maps listings, the business's own website and social media pages, and Companies House.

We use it to build a private draft website for the business and to contact it by post, by a card handed in by one of our team, by phone, or by email where the business is a limited company or LLP. Photographs taken from the business's own pages are shown only in that private draft and are never published without the business's written permission. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: offering a relevant local service to businesses.

If you do not reply within 60 days, we delete the draft and the details we gathered. If you ask us not to contact you, we keep only your business name and address on a do-not-contact list so that we do not contact you again.

People who send us an enquiry

When you use our contact form we keep your name, business name, email, phone number, topic and message so we can reply and, if you become a client, provide our service. We keep enquiries that do not lead to work for 12 months, and client records for 6 years for tax purposes.

Advertising clients

If we manage ads for you, we access your ad accounts with the permissions you give us and process the data those platforms show us only to run your campaigns. You can remove our access at any time.

Who we share information with

Our website and hosting providers, who process data on our behalf. We do not sell your information.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to us using it for marketing at any time. Email hello@woldandpage.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
